For the first time in history, the Central Archeological Council of the Greek Government gave permission for a rock band to perform at the Acropolis, inside the Herod Atticus Odeon. Few bands enjoy the popularity, longevity, and reach that Foo Fighters have
enjoyed. From selling millions of records on every corner of the earth to selling out every major venue around the globe, Foo Fighters are the greatest known ambassadors of rock and roll touring the world today.
This episode will focus on the experience of not only Foo Fighters’ first time performing in Greece, but also their journey as they explore Grecian art and culture, its people, and the 2,500 year-old structures that reside there. This episode captures the true excitement of the band as they experience this once in a lifetime event. The viewer will get a first-hand view of Greece’s culture, seen through the eyes of true artists Chad Smith and Foo Fighters.
“We’ve done some crazy things over the last 20 years, but I think this might be the craziest thing the Foo Fighters have ever done.”Dave Grohl
